Mortgage rates fall for third week in a row (San Diego Union-Tribune)
Mortgage rates dropped for a third straight week, Freddie Mac reported in its nationwide survey. Rates on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages fell to 6.04 percent this week from 6.14 percent last week. It marked a sharp decline since rates hit a recent high of 6.46 percent during the week of Oct. 16.
